It's Miserable !!!

It's 94* in the living room.....I've got a big standing fan going on one side of the room and a small fan sitting on the wood stove, on the other side.  Oh and I turned the furnace summer fan on.  They are all blowing the hot air around.  The sun is hidden by the clouds that are rolling in....the TV weather guy says the hot air will be trapped by the clouds, the humidity will rise and we may have thunder storms tonight.  Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 80's.

My dream for perfect weather~maximum high temperature...75*, a nice breeze, rain during the night between 12 midnight & 3am, never colder that 45*.

Gabi has been laid out either on the kitchen floor or the wooden entry way all day.  Once again I have suggested several times that she might consider taking off her fur coat but she just stares at me.

I tried working outside earlier in a shady part of the front yard, but even that was too hot.  I did however manage to get a few of my roses dead-headed before I gave up and came back in the house.

It's time to get out the Christmas CD's......"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....."

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.  And that it's not too hot where you are.   Until next time, Linda

Well, it's hot here in Penn also.  We have rain storms that are so brief and pathetic they go by unnoticed and don't do a thing for the heat.  Think Hudson's Bay, think tunra, think Lapland.  That's all I can suggest.   D

You don't usually use your lap top at home?

I cannot believe it is hotter there than here in Florida????  You need to get a window a/c unit.

Being in a Southern state, everyone here has A/C of some sort.  I guess I just haven't thought about how hot it would be without it.  I don't think I could sleep.  I really make it cold in my apt. at night...lol.  Hope it cools off for you.

In Northern, Illinios we have been getting some warm weather, but we keep getting rain all the time.

I've been running our AC nonstop for about a week now. I agree...no hotter than 75° and no colder than 45° is perfect! Hope it cools down for you so you can be more comfortable.

It's feast or famine with the weather these days I think.  There seems to be no happy medium!  I don't mind it being hot and muggy in the daytime but boy oh  boy do I hate it being that way at night!

I feel for you, it isn't that hot temp wise here but it is sooooo humid it makes it very uncomfortable.  I am in agreement with you on the the perfect weather scenario.  Poor little Gabi, I bet she wishes she could take her fur coat off for a few days!  Stay cool, hopefully it will pass & cool down some for you soon.

I'd love it to be 94° here! Katinka and Nina are the same as Gabi, they'll never take those big fur coats off! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
