Thanks for the help~

Thanks to all you sent emails, with suggestions for getting rid of the orange background. I finally figured out how to fix it.

Have enjoyed the PBS broadcast of some old Andy Williams Christmas shows on TV tonight. That & singing Christmas carols in church this morning has put me in the holiday mood. I got my 4 foot "always decorated" Christmas tree out of the storage shed this afternoon, brought it in the house & plugged it in. Also put out some silk poinsettia's here and there. I'll do some more decorating but not like I used to do when the kids were little. Hardly anyone comes to the house anyway, so the decorations are basically for me.

I hope you all had a good weekend~for some it's back to workie tomorrow.

My little tree, to my left as I sit at my computer.

What an adorable little tree. I love all the mix of ornaments and colors. I'm not one for theme trees.

Hi, Linda! What a wonderful Christmas background for your blog. I love your quick to put up tree too...what a great way to simplify setup. I do like a themed tree and this year I think it will be red ornaments and white birds and white angels...:) Maria

Your tree looks wonderful :) and so does you blog this morning! :) Very Christmasy. As Shelby gets older I find myself not decorating to the hilt anymore myself. We will always have a tree though. Have a good day at work, as good as it can be...at work. :) Hugs, Kelly

Your tree is darling, I just picked up a prelit 4' on the way in to the office this morning. My other tree is 7' and just too darn big!!

I like the smaller trees and you have shown they can be quite adorable & festive.

I love your new Christmasy background, Linda. And the tree is adorable. I decorate the house, but don't put up a tree anymore, since the kids and grands are all grown up now.

Have a wonderful week!

Dear Linda, You call the a LITTLE tree....maybe my nearsightedness is fooling me.
I put my "little" tree up and it is only 2 feet. I so look forward to the next Christmas in our new house and getting that "Christmas Spirit" back. For so many years this time was exhausting from our industry and by the time the 25th. came hubby and I were so sick. We have cheated our family over these years...but recently Chuck was telling me his hopes for next Christmas and bringing back the "old ways" we used to have.
Christmas is always in my heart but the decorations stay in the boxes...
Blessings,

Alberta LORI
