Honey, I'm Home

After what seemed like a very long 6 hour drive, we arrived safe and sound in Tacoma tonight at about 9:30pm. By the time we packed up and loaded the car we didn't check out of the condo until the appointed time of 12 noon. We then drove within a few blocks of Whistler Village and wandered around so Bob could find some new ski gloves. We'd gone to one of those time share presentation's yesterday and for our trouble, they gave us each a $50 gift card good at a few stores and restaurants there at Whistler. He found the gloves, on sale at The Columbia Sportswear store and with my gift card, we had a very nice lunch and got a pizza to go, so we'd have something to eat later tonight or after we got home.
The weather was perfect for the long drive, no fog, rain or snow. Dry pavement all the way. There was about a 25 minute delay going thru the border but other than that it was smooth sailing.
It's good to be home and all unpacked. Now I'm off to bed with my book and my kitty.........oh that's right my kitty isn't here. I'll get her Saturday from my grand daughter.

Score, if you can say no, those time share presentations can be great.

Back home already! I'm glad you had a safe trip.

I tried to get Sonny to go to a time share meeting in Puerto vallarta for free tickets to a swim with the dolphins and cash. He didn't want to due to the short time we were there. Next time! I can say NO to the salesmen. Well, my wallet says 'NO WAY JOSE' for me.
