FOOD FRIDAY

YUMMY BANANA BREAD
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 large or 4 small mashed bananas
Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla mixing well. Stir in bananas and add dry ingredients. Grease loaf pan and pour all ingredients into pan. Bake 50 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean) at 350*
This banana bread is very easy to make and so moist. One of the best recipes I've ever used. Remember if you have ripe banana's and no time to make the bread. Just put your banana's in the freezer until you have time to use them. They'll turn black & ugly but once they thaw out, they'll be perfect for using in this recipe.

I always like to put chopped pecans in my quick breads, too.

Great tip about putting the bananas in the freezer--how many bananas have I thrown away because they got TOO ripe? Bunches! (Ha! Get it?!)

Okay Linda, you're on. I copied your bananananananana bread recipe. Given my baking skills, if it comes out as anything other than a rock. I'll let you know. If it's not edible, I'll give it to my housemates. They eat anything.
