Have A Blessed Easter

"And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus and Salome had brought sweet spices that they might come and anoint him.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away the stone from the door of the sepuluchre?

And when they looked, they saw that the great stone was rolled away.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were frightened.

And he said unto them, Be not frightened, ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified? He is risen, he is not here, behold the place where they laid him."

HE IS RISEN~HE HAS RISEN INDEED!

Have a Blessed Easter Sunday

"Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior;
Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!

Death cannot keep it's prey, Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph o'er His foes, He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.  He arose!  He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

I remember singing this Easter hymn every year since I was a little girl. These precious words, written by Robert Lowry in 1874
still thrill my soul today.
