Thursday Night Weather Update

Well, folks I'm happy to report that our weather hasn't changed one little bit.  :)Although....I did see this big ball of fire up in the sky for about 7 minutes this afternoon.  But it was soon covered with big gray clouds.  There was one thing I forgot to report last night...and that is, as I was driving home in the pouring rain, as I turned onto the main road just a few blocks from home....in the east there was a rainbow....God's promise that He would not flood the entire earth.  That was enough to let me know that....this too shall pass.

I have three days off now and I'm not going to let the weather dampen my spirits.   I may not be out working in the yard but I think I can find something to pass the time, have a little fun and get somethings done around the house too.  Until next time....Linda

Come on down West Texas way.
It's been 71 days without rain today.
This I ask in your name, I pray.

Glad to see the rain isn't getting you down, That thing you saw in the sky wasn't a ball of fire, it's called a Yellow Dwarf, I hear it appears in other countries quite a bit. Haven't seen it myself for a few days! Enjoy your time off work. Jeannette. http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels

I was shocked to hear we had had 20-some days in a row with rain!!!  I live here, and hadn't noticed!  How is that for being in my own little world?  Maybe this is the reason I have been so down, lately...Have a good three days off!  JAE
