Update On Tacoma Mall Shooting Victim

There's some great news on the fellow that was the most seriously injured at the Tacoma Mall, last November.  He's been released from the Rehab Center....walking.  Yes, he walked out of that center.  What a miracle !!  You can read the story by following the link below.

It's still raining, here in the Pacific Northwest.  I feel so bad for those people who are having their homes flooded by overflowing creeks and rivers.  I'm blessed to live where I do...I don't have to worry about flooding.

I went to see a great movie today, it was "Memoirs of a Geisha."  Very good....however, if the movie was true to the way things were, it is very sad to think about little girls being sold by their family, into that life.

I'm very tired tonight, I think it's time to take my book and my kitty and go down the hall to bed.  Sleep tight, until next time...Linda

I hadn't heard about his recovery...thanks for reminding us.  Yes, the rain.  Just drizzly up north.  And gray, gray skies.  JAE

"Memoirs of a Geisha" is one of the books on my 'please read' list.  I always read the book before I see the movie and then I'm disappointed in the movie.  Go figure!  Thanks for the link.  I'm glad to hear of his recovery.  Pennie
