Just A Reminder....

For those of you in the U.S. don't forget that Saturday night is "Spring Ahead" night.  We set our clocks one hour ahead when we head off to bed. But my reminder is to get new batteries for your smoke detectors while you're out  running your weekend errands. They are at the top of my shopping list.  In the mobile park where I live, an old man lost his life several years ago when his mobile caught on fire from a discarded cigarette.  The local fire department said there were smoke detectors in his place but none of them contained batteries. You hear about that all the time...and it's very sad.  So if you don't remember anything else, dear friends.....remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.   Until next time,  Linda

I think so many people forget the batteries, they just feel safe knowing they have smoke detectors. Good tip! I hope spring is just around the corner now, seems like we had a long cold winter! Jeannette.

Hi Linda in Washington!  I forgot it was day light's savings time, and got up all confused, lol.
