Hi there Krissy...this is my entry.  This is  beautiful rhododendron just to the side of my front porch.  The flowers are a cream color with pink centers.  I wish they'd bloom forever...they are so beautiful.  Did you know the state flower for Washington is...the lovely rhododendron ?  There is a certain variety that grow wild.  The bushes people have in their  yards are not usually the ones that grow in the wild, they are ones that have been propagated for landscaping purposes and come in many, many colors.

Oh how beautiful Linda!  I have never seen any rhododendrons with colored centers like that.  Very pretty!  I didn't know that was your state flower.  We have a massive amount of them here in PA too.  We also have mountain laurels, which are related to rhododendrons.  They are our state flowers.  Thanks for showing us your beautiful flowers.

I love rhododendrons, we have a park here in Sussex that has acres of them as big as trees. I think the cultivated ones are from China. Yours are beautiful, I love the blush centres! Jeannette.
