Sunday Wrap up

First an update; I just talked to Lynnette and they have not heard from her grand daughter as yet.  She failed to show up at her job this morning, and now one of the other grand daughters, that's a little older, said that the missing one has been emailing a 20 year old guy she met on My Space.  The parents have called the police and reported her missing.  Keep praying that she'll return to her family safe.

It's very hot here...my living room is 86 degrees with 1 big window open in the front and both the sliding glass door on the east and the main door on the west open.  Plus I have the fan in the furnace going for air and a big stand up fan in the living room going at full speed. I also have a fan going in my room.  Unfortunately, it's the hardest room in the house to cool because there's no air that moves thru there even with the window open.

Now to the pictures;  #'s 1 and 2,  I took yesterday of our beautiful Mt Rainier, that you can see from all over this area. I'm about 60 miles from the entrance to the park so you can see that it's not just a little hill.   It's actually 14,411 feet high and is said to be the highest point in the whole state of Washington.   Picture #3 is of a Bleeding Heart, an early spring, shade loving plant.  When I posted some flower pictures last week Barb (aka; Queenb8261) asked me if the fuchsia was also known as a Bleeding Heart.  I think she left on vacation, but I thought I'd just go ahead and put the picture in here anyway. Picture #4 is a remarkable discovery I made at the Super Wal Mart in Puyallup.  Dairgold milk products has a 1% chocolate milk.  And it's wonderful, you'd never know it was low fat.  And finally Picture #5 is all of us old broads today after our lunch at Ruby Tuesday's.  We stayed there for a long time because it was so nice and cool in there and then they all came here for about 45 minutes.  And now everyone has left.  And it's time for me to get back to the real world.  I still should mow the back lawn tonight if and when it cools down and also get ready to go back to the "salt mines" Monday morning.  I have to work all five days this week, as I'm working Friday for a co-worker who needs to move her daughter home from college before July 1st. But...I'm off the whole first week of July on vacation.  On Monday the 3rd, I'll take my grand daughter Meghanne on her annual birthday outing (she'll be 14 on the 4th of July).  And then celebrate the fourth...somewhere ?!?   It will be good just to be home, free to come and go for a week.

I'll keep you posted about Lynnette's grand daughter...until next time,  Linda

P.S. the weather guy on the evening news from Seattle just said said it's 88 degrees in Seattle right now and is supposed to get up to 92 degrees there tomorrow.  Our weather does not vary much from Seattle since we are only 35 miles apart.

I hope everything is okay with the grand daughter...so scary...
We have fans going in all the rooms, too.  Love those pictures of Mt. Rainier.  I can see it from my patio, too!  Not so clear, and it is nowhere as large from here, but I can still see it!  Jae

Oh my hope they hear something about the girl. I love the pics of Mt. Rainier. I have lots of pics from there when my husband was there for two weeks. He and his friends hiked around there and got some awesome pics.
Take care, Chrissie

Oh you did get a pic of the bleeding heart.  How sweet it is.  I love it.  I also love Mt Rainier.  It is one of the most increidible sites I have ever seen in my life.  I absolutely love WA.  How blessed you are to live there.  Though not in the heat, without A/C!!! Bless your heart. Hope you get a cool down.
Have a great weekend. Barb
