THE FISHERMAN CAME HERE TO PROCESS HIS FISH

I knew it...I knew he'd bring is bloody fish here.  The halibut was all skinned and filleted.  So that was just cut into serving pieces as was the salmon.  I have a Food Saver which vacuum packs but in the case of meat and fish, the pieces have to be frozen first.  So he cut up both fish and the pieces are on cookie sheets in my freezer. Later, we'll take the frozen pieces and vacuum pack them and they will stay fresh for months.  Wish you could all come over for a fish feed.  He cut one big salmon roast to take down to his daughter in California in a couple weeks.  He's flying down, so we'll pack it in a bunch of plastic bags and then maybe wrap a towel around it to keep it frozen in his suitcase while he's in route.

That done, we're off to find some fire works.  Instead of going down to the water front, I think we are going to head out to one of the local casino's that having a big fireworks show in a couple hours.  Until next time........Linda
