I GOT MAIL !!!

I was so excited when I finally got home tonight and found four beautiful post cards in my mail box.  Thank you all so much !  I still think my mailman had them at his house and didn't bring them until he read them all. I'll put them in my scrapbook so I can look at them again and again. This is fun...who thought of this ?

After work tonight I met Bob and his California daughter, her two kids and two of his other grandkids (they live nearby here in Washington) at a great little seafood place called Steamers.  It's not very big but there are tables inside and out and it's down on the waterfront.  From their parking lot, you have to cross two sets of train tracks, so with trains coming & going, people walking along the walkway  at the top of the embankment and kids playing on the beach...... it's a great place to hang out on a summer evening.  Oh and I forgot about the boats going by on the water, and our beautiful Narrows Bridge in the distance.  We had a wonderful relaxing couple of hours.   Bob's California daughter and her two kids always come up for most of the month of August.  Bob flew down to Pasadena two weeks ago and drove up with them last week and then his son-in-law will fly up about a week before it's time for them to go home and drive back with them.   It's a good arrangement.

The last picture (# 11) is especially for Robin in California.  I had nothing to take for lunch today & I only get 30 minutes so I called Bob about 10:30 and asked him where he was....he was in the north end of town, somewhat close to the hospital, so I begged  him to bring me some lunch.  After telling Robin that I only worked a few blocks from Frisko Freeze and that I hadn't had one of their burgers for years, I'm happy to say that situation has been rectified. YUMMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!  The shake ?  Oh, it was a chocolate one of course.

Until next time.....Linda & Gabi the cutest little cat in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I haven't been getting many comments in my Country Living Southern Style journal either.  I wondered what the heck was going on.  I get some of my alerts and not others.  Wonder if AOL will EVER get these kinks worked out?  I loved the photos.  Very nice of you and your postcards.  That is a beautiful sunset photo.  Washington looks like a very beautiful state.

Blessings!~
