BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE !

Oh wow, I just walked by my kitchen window and looked at the thermometer out side...it's 26 degrees out there this morning.  According to the weather guy on TV it's supposed to warm up to 49 degrees by this afternoon.  From the looks of my beautiful Mother's Day fuchsia basket...I'd say it's done for.  I hate winter already and it hasn't really even started yet.

I ignored Halloween last night.  I turned off all the light in the street end of the house and settled in to my room in the back part of the house.  I need to get a VCR/DVD player for the TV in my room so I can watch a movie there when I want to.  There just isn't much on TV that I'm interested in.  I peeked out the front window a couple of times and didn't see any kids around but you never know.  Sometimes the parents bring car loads of them into the park here and turn them loose.

Well, I'm off to get ready for work, have a good day.......Linda

and i think it's cold here when it gets in the 40's and 50's!  thankfully, we do not have a lot of really cold weather here.  maybe a couple of times through the winter we get down in teens or even single digits.  brrrrrr

It was in the upper 70's here for a high and was 50 something when I went to work this morning at 5am.  I'm with you when it comes to hiding from the trick or treaters.  Gone are the days of costumes and kids.  The only ones out las night were teenagers dressed in jackets and jeans.  The only attempt to look like Halloween were the jack-o-lantern buckets they thrust at you after they rang the bell.  I have no use for that, at least pretend to dress up if you want me to feed you.
