Warming Up A Bit?

This latest email weather report from KOMO TV in Seattle cracks me up.  To me "warming up a bit" means like the high 40's or even 50's (the 60's would be pushing it in January.)  But, they call warming up a bit into the 30's.  Oh, I can't wait for summer !

"Dear Linda,
Updated Saturday 6:15 p.m.

The snow flurries from today are tapering off and we are headed to a partly cloudy night. Lows will drop to the low to mid 20s.

Sunday we start out with areas of low clouds and fog, but break out to partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Highs will be noticeably warmer as highs finally break past the freezing mark for all of western Washington. Plan on the mid to even upper 30s.

The warming trend continues on Monday with a partly sunny start to the day. Clouds will build by the end with a chance of an overnight showers into Tuesday morning. Tuesday should stay mostly cloudy, but by then our highs will be flirting with the mid 40s.

The sunshine comes back to town on Wednesday finally getting rid of any left over icy spots. more...
Sincerely,
KOMO 4 Weathercaster Theron Zahn"

Yep...warming up has to be at least the 40s.  Thurs we were 70.  Friday the high during the day...26. LOL Talk about one extreme to the other.  Glad you're warming up. LOL Hugs, Barb

Yeah, that "warming up a bit" comment was a bit misleading, eh?
