Words To Live By

I snagged the following from Yada Yada Yada, who snagged it from Love For WildAutumn Rose;

Watch your thoughts, they become words.

Watch your words, they become actions.

Watch your actions, they become habits.

Watch your habits, they become your character.

Kathy said "I really like that - it's so true.  We need to be aware of our behaviors and their consequences as we rush through this life."  I agree Kathy and I hope you don't mind that I copied this out of your journal.  Our goal here is to share what's going on in our lives and learn about others.  And to be there for support and encouragement when needed.  I cherish my "electronic pen pals" and I thank both parties listed above for these reminders on how to conduct my life.

I loved your entry, too.   I don't think we can say these things enough.  When nastiness is going around it's so important to stand up and post something like this that really says, "THIS is how we should live our lives..."  Standing up and taking the high road isn't always popular or easy but it's  the right thing and, you know, God watches everything we do.  I'm accountable to Him.
Hugs,  Kathy

I am so glad this is being passed from one person to another. The whole process is so true and really something to sit and think about...slowly. Once you get it, you will always get it.  Best wishes.  ~ Karen ~

Very good message, this should be passed along to our young people.  My Mother did always say, live by the Golden Rule, Do Unto Others as you would have others do unto you.  Thanks for passing this on.  Joni
