Curves Update

Well, I've been dreading this 14th visit, as it's the day they weigh and measure you again.  They do the whole thing on your very first visit so they have a base line to go by. 

I lost no weight but didn't gain any either however,  I have not changed my eating habits.  Still eating movie popcorn, with a soda and that strawberry-rhubard pie was certainly a dietary downfall, for sure.  Oh and the cake at the baby shower and the cake the weekend before at the graduation party.  Gosh, I love cake and pie !!!!

But the good news is....I lost a total 10.75 inches since my first visit May 15th. (I just wish that 10 inches would have come off a certain part of my body that sticks out too far and gives me a back ache when I am standing over the sink doing dishes.) I have really been thinking of every excuse in the book to not go this past week.  I've really had to drag myself in there.  Now I feel more inspired to go.  And I have about 93 days until that Alaskan cruise so maybe...just maybe...I'll be a little less chunky by then. 

Well, that's all, just wanted to share the news.   I know there are some of you out there in the same boat...struggling with weight issues.  We have to keep trying to make the changes necessary to change those issues.

Hey at least you didn't gain! And you did lose some inches...WOO HOO!
Just try eating smaller portions if you can't give up the goodies. And if you can, maybe walk a little more ea day. Don't forget to drink that water.
See I know the things to do...I just don't do them. :(

Linda that's really good to loose inches.  It's okay to have dessert once a week or so.  But keep going, I can't wait to get back to my 24 hr fitess.  Just keep to up and it will be so good for you.  We can keep each other motivated.  Joni

Well done on losing inches, weight isn't the all important thing, it's body mass you want to lose and it sounds like you're doing it! Exercise is good, I love walking and it's one of the best aerobic exercises you can do! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Well done, Linda, at least nothing gained. It is the body mass index you need to watch .

Woo hoo, inch loss is better than weight loss, and of course no gain is the best and you still go to eat your cake, lol...

Oh how I love the sweets, too, Linda! LOL  But you are inspiring me =).  Congratulations on all your hard work!  It really IS paying off!  You go girl!!  Oh, and yes, thanks for the reminder in my journal to all that don't have father's that, yes, our Heavenly Father is watching out for them.  That is so, so true.  I hope you have a good coming week, hon! Glad your visit went well. Sounds like you've done great to me. It takes time and like you said you really haven't changed your eating habits yet. When you do that you'll notice a great change I know it. Good luck keep up the good work.
