Camelot

AOL home page is announcing the death of actor/singer Robert Goulet.  He passed away this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, awaiting a lung transplant.   I didn't like some of his off-screen behavior but he had a beautiful voice and I extend sympathy to his family and friends.  I had heard on the news last night that he was very ill at the young age of 73.  I can remember when he was married to Carol Lawrence...they were marvelous together.      Linda

Yeah I did like those 2 together, but after that he kind of went down hill.  He had a great voice though.  Joni

Catching up with all your entries here this morning Linda.  You were busy posting yesterday!  SO sorry to hear this news about Robert Goulet. I can remember watching him as a young child on the Juliet hour up here in Canada.  He was a regular on that show when it was on back in the early sixties!  He was quite a young man at that time!  He truly had a wonderful voice, and to die so young really, he was only four years older than my Todd....think I'll go hug him and tell him I love him.
Have a great day!

We did not see much of him in England but I did catch him on t.v. a couple of times.  He had a beautiful voice.  May he rest in peace.

I don't think I've ever heard him singing Linda. He was one of those people who never made it big in the UK. Sorry to hear he's died though. Jeannette xx

I remember him from when I was a little girl - wasn't he with a lady name "Edie"?
