Monday Photo Shoot #124

From Krissy at Sometimes I Think; http://journals.aol.com/fisherkristina/SometimesIThink/entries/2008/01/07/photo-shoot-124/1490

This week we have a brand new logo made by Valerie!  To my knowledge, this photo shoot has been the longest running in JLand, hence its new name!  A new name and a new look for a new year!  Thanks to all of you who have played along since this photo shoot's inception (2004), and I hope you continue to get enjoyment for a long time to come!

This week's photo shoot will begin today (on Monday) and be due on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 11 PM EST

Our subject this week is:  a close up (interpret this to be as close as you like)

Great photo Linda!!  I love playing with light in my photos.  I have a couple of lamps that I use.  In the summertime I can get by with just day light and Todd thinks I am a real odd duck running around the house with plates of food to take photos of it in the different lights.  It's amazing what a difference it can make to the outcome though!  (the light that is, not Todd's thoughts!)

Gabi's adorable, Linda!  What I love most about this photo is the lighting.  But there are a few more things.  I like how you got close enough to fill the frame.  The close up is good.  I also like how you chose a very special subject.  Gabi is perfect for this.  And I also love the very special colors in the photo.  Gabi looks very delicate sitting there on the soft items.  The soft items and lighting gives Gabi a delicate look, just like she is.  Job well done, Linda!
