That's a First

The AOL Welcome page #5 says "How To Get Radiant Skin" and pictures products from Avon.  After reading the article, there's products from other companies featured too, but there's a lot listed from Avon.  I was excited to see that.  Aside from the fact that I've been an Avon rep since 1976, I do love their skin care products and they are so reasonable compared to some sold in department stores. People have the preception that all Avon sells is perfume and many have allergies so can't use it.... so that means there's nothing else to buy.  I think they'd be surprised at the huge range of products available.

In looking at the satillete picture of the west coast, Washington is on the outer fringe of the bad storm that hit us yesterday afternoon & during the night.  The wind is still blowing here, with rain showers off and on.  But the hardest hit was the San Francisco area. The crazies are wind surfing in San Francisco Bay. And I saw semi trucks turned over on the area highways. I understand there is record snow fall in Siskiyou Pass between southern Oregon and northern California. (The link I've provided has some web cams of the area).  Hopefully, this ugly storm will pass quickly and damage will be minimal.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday....

Well, I'm off now to tromp around the house in my pink glittery slippers from Avon. Until next time..... Linda

I was an Avon  Lady once-for a short time-only job I've ever had.I became allergic to some of their fragrances-but still use some and their lotions. They have really beautful jewlery....I have loads of Avon collector bottles boxed up in the basement some mine and most were my MIL's that she gave me.

I would never use Avon in the past as they tested on animals ~ since they have become a cruelty free company I've purchased a number of items (as you well know) and have found some of the skin care items comparable to those I was paying as much as 4 times more for.  I hope the snow stays out west!!!

I didn't realize you sold Avon, Linda. They do have good products.

we got quite a bit of rain last night, it eased up this morning and I think we have another storm heading our way for tonight. Lots of wind last night too!

I've driven (actually Jim has driven) Siskiyou Pass several times in the snow; not fun at all!

would love to see those pink glittery slippers :)

I love Avon cosmetics.  My son's SIL was a rep, well as far as I know she still is.  I always had stuff of her until I moved and now I don't see her so often.
Those satellite pictures are awesome.  Although I'm looking at them today.
Take care
