They Finally Got It Right!!!

Happy Monday!   Woke up to snow today~they've been predicting it for days.  And from what I hear this isn't the last of it.  Oh, am I ever glad I didn't have to go to work today !!!!  The first time in over 45 years, I could stay home on a snowy day. I love it but hate to drive in it. When I was working, I had to be at work at 7am, so was always out there in the dark plowing thru it.  And there is no way I could get from my house to work without going up and down hills. Sometimes it was a real challenge.  I hope you'll look at the pictures in the "larger" format to get the full effect.

Gee...looks like home although we have big drifts as the wind has been howling for days now.     It is -40 with the windchill and that is an equal temperature in C or F

Okay now I know who to blame.  You got a lot more than we did this time, but it was bad enough that I didn't chance going to workout.  There is a road closed out here somewhere also.  It is so nice not having to worry about work.  Floyd had a Dr appt. he's going to cancel.  Have a nice snow day. :)  Joni

It looks beautiful, like a Winter Wonderland. We hardly get any snow here & when we do it barely covers the ground. It's usually gone by the end of the day or by the following day. Thank you for sharing those pics with us.

What great snow pictures.  We are supposed to have some tomorrow.  Like you I live at the top of a hill and dread having to go up and down it in the car.  I don't think we will have it as deep as you though.
