Weather Forecast~Ugh !!!

The deep freeze continues here in the Pacific Northwest.  My Saturday morning weather email from KOMO TV in Seattle.

 "Dear Linda,

A very chilly morning out there in parts of western Washington. Lows in the south Sound overnight dropped down into the upper teens and low 20s. Areas of frost are making for some slick roads and bridges.

Right now more cool air is heading our way from the northwest. We also have some moisture moving in from the south. As we work our way through Saturday we will watch the clouds increase along with the chance of rain or a rain/snow mix below 500 feet. Above that level, you could get some plain old snow. We don't have a lot of moisture to work with, but enough to bring 1 to 3 inches of snow during the afternoon hours above 500 feet.

Across the Cascades we will increase the snow as the day goes on. All of our passes could see a foot of new snow by Sunday morning.

For the lowlands we will continue the chance of snow overnight with lows dropping to the upper 20s and low 30s. Don't be surprised if you wake up Sunday morning with an inch or two of white on your lawn.

Sunday the moisture runs out by midday with a few sunbreaks popping up during the afternoon. Highs will stay in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Another soggy system moves in overnight into Monday morning giving us another chance of some light snow for the commute.

We stay on the cool and slightly soggy side for the most of the week ahead with overnight snow staying in the forecast until midweek.

Updated Saturday 9:10 a.m. more..."

Oh brrrr..... reading about your cold weather makes me appreciate our own, mild if soggy weather!  The sun did shine yesterday though, and it was wonderful!!!
