AOL Community Photo Challenge

This week's challenge is AGED.  So find something that shows age or take an image & make it vintage or aged.

I've seen so many wonderful pictures, that I had decided to just forget the whole thing.  But then my eyes fell on some "aged" roses that I received in August 2006 on the occasion of my 30th Anniversary with Avon.  A co-worker took them and dried them for me and I still have them in a vase.  They really are pretty and I'm sure the picture will not do them justice.

Hi! I enjoyed your comment in my friends journal! She has agreed to be my dieting partner! I am so encouraged by knowing that someone else will be with me! She says "we can do this!' So I will try harder.I have bad knees and hips too. Somedays i have to go for my walks with my cane in my hand to help with those rocky places.I have been taking glucosamine supplements in hopes that they will make these old bones more flexible lol. God bless you in your endeavor, june

I think the aged roses is perfect for this challenge!  I look at the challenges as a fun way to play with the camera.  Don't worry how they stack up to the others.  I like looking and seeing what everyone comes up with for the theme.  Dried roses have a lot of texture and gets a person thinking, about who got the roses and what special occasion it was - if any.
