The News Wasn't Good

I took my sore right knee to the doctor today. She's afraid it's a torn meniscus.  I'm to limit my walking, keep wearing the brace,  take it easy and wait until Medicare ok's an MRI, so we can find out for sure.  Today was a dry & sunny day and I should have been out working in my yard.  This will drive me nuts.  I don't do "take it easy" very well.

I did call Barbara after I got home and she said we should go to a movie tomorrow and that sounds good to me.  That will take my mind off of this whole mess for an hour and a half.

Bob moved a couple of my heavy outdoor pots around for me this afternoon.  They have tulips in them that are about to bloom and I wanted them up on the end of the porch where I could see them.   He now has taken off in the truck & camper for a couple days of skiing at White Pass, here in Washington.

So now I have to be good and stay out of the junk food while I "nurse" this knee.

oh Linda; I'm sorry to hear that; I hope its not a torn meniscus and that you get approval to get the MRI soon so you will know and know what you are dealing with; in the meantime as hard as it is, do follow the doctor's advice

Soprry to hear about your Knee yet again Linda.  Let's hope that this time they get it well and truly sorted out.  I am like you, I wouldn't do take it easy very well either.  But you MUST!!!  Keeping out of the junk food would be my trial!

Take it easy, if you can, Linda. I know all about painful knees, although probably not as painful as yours

Sorry to hear about your knee, a torn meniscus is that is it, is very painful.  So good to hear spring is coming to you, we still have so much snow on the ground and it snowed again today.   Taking it easy is hard, when one is so active.  Hope all goes well when you have the MRI.  Take care.

oooh, sorry to hear about the diagnosis on your knee.  Doug has the same thing and it just keeps getting worse since he won't rest, he just complains and goes to work everyday.  Take care of it so you heal well, I bet Gabi is more than happy you are taking it easy!!
