I'm Home !

I'm home from the hospital. I was finally discharged about 9:00pm tonight by the time all the paper work was completed, it was shortly after 10pm when I actually arrived home to a kitty that has eaten next to nothing since I left here Thursday about 11:30am. Bob put food out for her but she wouldn't eat....

Monica came to the hospital this evening with two bouquets of beautiful flowers....which came from my dear friends in Bloggerville. Thanks to Monica for coming up to see me and thanks to all of you for your prayers & kind thoughts sent my way.

I have a ton of emails & I won't be able to get to them tonight but will read them this weekend. I'm absolutely exhausted....someone was in my room doing something about every 45 minutes last night and today so I got very little rest. Tonight I feel like I've been in Jimmy's Area 51 for about 7 days~non stop.

By the way in case you think I worked some sort of magic....I actually did my Food Friday entry for today a couple weeks ago. I just wrote it and scheduled it to post this morning.

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart!

Glad to hear they let you go home! The few times I've been in the hospital I needed to get rest afterwards as they were always coming into the room to poke me for blood or to give me some meds or worse yet to see if I was sleeping!! The hospital isn't a fun place to be.

I found out after I left that my daughter was working that wing while I was there, earlier she was in the ER working - her favorite place to work.

And yes, next time we need to meet at a better place!

Glad to hear that you are home Linda! Get plenty of rest and take care of yourself! You had my prayers and thoughts and still do. I have always found that hospitals are not the greatest places to get rest! They're usually quite noisy and disturbing!

Good Saturday morning Linda. Okay, I missed something somewhere! What happened that you had to go into the hospital? Whatever it was, I am glad you are back home and alright. No place like home, especially when you have been in the hospital. Your cat knew something was up, and she was missing you I am sure. When we visited Fernbank Museum Shelby ran pennies through to get one of each of the squished pennies. :) I can't remember now, I wonder if there was one at the Georgia Aquarium and we missed it somehow. They are a neat thing to take home from places visited. I hope you get plenty of rest this weekend and are feeling yourself again soon. XOXOXOXOXO Kelly

I'm very happy to see you back home, Linda - if only because Gabi will now resume eating. Take it easy!

I tell my patients that hospitals aren't places to get rest, they are places to get better, still getting woke up all night is terrible. I take solace in the fact most never remember me so won't hold a grudge, LOL.

Glad your feeling better.
