Each year I trim & shape this rhody, I want it to get tall to allow for privacy on my porch. Right now it's over 5 feet tall and of course very bushy. The blooms are so pretty. It rained last night so you can see raindrops in the top picture.
I know I haven't visitied Blogs much the last few weeks. And there's a reason. Not always but at times after I've read a Blog and commented, I have trouble logging out of it. Then anywhere from 10-20-30 copies of the Blog pop up on my screen. I can't shut them down fast enough as they appear rapidly. I end up having to shut my whole computer down manually because even the alt-control-delete method doesn't work. It's very frustrating.
I have done all the scanning, defragging & screening I can do. So I'm at my wits end as to what to do. Of course I run a virus program (ESET NOD32) so I don't believe that's the problem.
Anyway, please forgive me....I haven't abandoned you dear Blogger's and once I get this figured out I'll be back.

Linda, I'm very happy to read this. Well, not happy that your computer is giving you fits, of course! But both Ken and I have had the exact same problem periodically! Internet Explorer starts opening, and gets stuck in a loop. Sometimes I can get out of it, but more often than not, I have to get out of AOL entirely. (I rarely have to restart.)
I wonder how many others are having this problem? Is it a Blogger problem? I've also run MacAfee, and while I initially got 3 things flagged, subsequent runs have shown nothing. Let's all keep an eye on this and see if we find out more.
Beth
It happens on internet explorer also and the only thing you can do is log off and restart.
I love the idea of make a living wall! I wish my flowers were that big, but maybe in another few years.

i have the problem occ with IE, it opens over & over again it'll be up to 50 or so, before i can finally just shut of computer. only way out is to turn it off manually.
son said i prob had a virus, but i ran all kinds of scans, & nothing shows up.
if you ever find out what causes it, let us know.
beautiful rhody.
huggies...
Do you have a spy bot program? Sounds like a ad ware problem. Love your flowers.
I have been having the same problems you ladies have mentioned. It's been a problem on my computer for over 6 months. I was wondering if we downloaded Internet Explorer 8 if we would have the same problem. Has anyone downloaded Internet Explorer 8? If so, please email me and let me know how you like it. Thanks so much.
Pat (from Virginia)
Hi Linda, I love that Rhody flower bush you got there. That is something different. I told D that I was experiencing the the same thing. I thought it was blogger.I shut down and reboost and I just realize that the pop-up blocker isn't on.Maybe you should check yours..I haven't have any problems since then. Take care and I hope this will stay this way tomorrow. Nancy
The drive down to our cottage is lined on both sides with rhododendrons. They are just about to burst into bloom. It will be heavenly beautiful when that happens. I can't wait! It's a gift that spring gives us every year.
Add my name to the list of people having this same problem with IE. I, too, have a virus protection program, so could not figure out what is going on. At least, now I know it isn't the 'operator'. LOL
Your Rhododendron is beautiful!!!
Hi Linda, I haven't ha that problem but give me time and I am sure it will get around to me. Love your rhodie.
I have the same problem. I can mimic what Beth said exactly. I was blaming it on Dashboard, but it's not that. It's when I finish a comment. Very frustrating. I end up shutting everything down and giving up. That's the main reason I stay so far behind these days.
Hugs, Joyce
I can so relate. My computer was doing weird things on Facebook the other day.
P.S. Your rhododendrons are beautiful!
