GOING HOME ?

We are planning on leaving Pasadena sometime today. So far it's 10:30am and no move has been made in that direction. Our intended stop for tonight is California's Red Rock Canyon State Park~about 130 miles from here. Bob is finishing up a couple things around the house here and the camper still needs to be arranged for traveling.

I want to be home by next Tuesday evening because I've scheduled my mail to be brought to me on June 9th. I'm not sure if the mailman will leave a tub of mail on my porch if I'm not there to receive it. Then we have Bob's grand daughter's graduation on Thursday the 11th and her graduation party on the 13th. So next week is a busy week at home....we need to get there.

I'm sure I'll be off-line for the most part until I'm sitting in front of my own computer. If we stop in Carson City, I can always use his cousin's computer to get on line. So I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I'll be back when I can. Linda

safe travels, Linda! maybe next time you are in this area or close me/Kelli can try to hook up with you.

I know when I travel I get antsy to be home after a certain time gone so I can understand why you'd like to get going sooner than later, especially with the events planned for next week

Have a safe trip! I know that our Post Office says that they will not leave mail at the house after service is resumed, but our mail carrier does. Since we're out in the country, and he can leave at the back of the house, he does that. It's great!

Hi Linda, I have been anxiously awaiting a new entry...
Just that picture made me laugh when I think how many times people do NOT listen to instructions and I remember being at Sea World and they cautioned you about sitting up front....OH YA....did they get doused with water.
Safe journey home..

Love and hugs,

ALBERTA Lori

Be Safe!! And no worries about the mail, just call them or find them online... I'm sure you can revise the date pretty easily. Well, for the mail only, not the graduation... LOL!!

Take Care, Friend!!

Sorry I haven't been by lately. You know I've been off my feet & just haven't felt up to doing much blogging. I knew you were traveling. I am so jelous. I haven't had a vacation in several years. I would LOVE to go San Diego and that area. Sounds wonderful. And Sea World. How fun! Haven't been since my kids were LITTLE. I am hoping maybe we can take the girls to SeaWorld here in Texas. Or some aquarium. I cannot wait till Richard retires. We want to take the train up to Alaska or somewhere like that. We have only been on passenger train once. We flew to Houston & got on the train & went through New Orleans & on to Orlando. Since he used his RR discount we had to take the berth they gave us...a single. SO tiny. Of course we were young & didn't care. PLUS we hit a car & were stopped in the middle of nowhere 4 hours. At least the people got out of the car.
I can't wait till you post more pics. Oh and the Food Friday recipes sound great. I can't wait to try the broccoli/cauliflower one. My little granddaughters absolutely love vegetables. I think they'll like this.
Have a good week. And a safe trip home!! Hugs, Barb *queenb
