September 11th

I just read a moving account of September 11, 2001.  For my close friends who follow my journal, please follow this link to read the account of someone who was there, in New York,  on that awful day.

I was unable to access his tribute, because I'm on dial-up and I was afraid I'd blow up my computer.  But, from the comments left it must be a heart wrenching tribute.  We must never forget what was done that day.  And like I've said before...it wasn't just an attack on the USA, it was an attack on all people, in every country of this world who desire to live in peace.

On a lighter note, I have a dear friend who is celebrating her birthday today, so I want to take this opportunity to wish my dear friend Jan a happy birthday.

Until next time...Linda

I watched Jimmy's tribute, it was so overwhelmingly sad. Also read his account of the day, it must have been horrific to be there. Jeannette.
