MONDAY UPDATE
On the noon news they announced a Stage 2 burn ban for this area. That means I can't even have a fire in my certified wood stove. We need some wind to blow the stagnant air away. I hate to turn the furnace thermostat past 65* ~ I can't even imagine what my electricity bill will be for this month. So I guess Gabi and I will be snuggling with a blanket this evening as I watch TV.

You sure get some crazy weather down your way, Linda. A burn ban on the Pacific coast, my my.
That's just nuts! Bundle up!
I don't understand what you mean by stagnant air and why can't you burn the fire in your house?
I'd turn up the furnace... I want COMFORT!! LOL!! Well, it's easy for me to say, I'm not there. Hope you and Gabi are comfortable tonight!!
Yep, it's cold here in Buffalo. 15 now. Yeah, why can't you have a fire? Anyway, stay warm. Nancy
brrr! I remember those no-burn days when we lived in Medford, Oregon
can you bump the heater up a bit for a little bit to get comfortable and then turn it back down? I'm the same way, I hate it to go over 69 (you are braver than me to keep it at 65)
